June 14, 2010 — This week we include some new and old American pasttimes in our guide, including scrapbooking, classic cars, baseball, theme parks and street music. There's a little something for everyone, including the special dads we honor this weekend. Enjoy!

Scrapbooking Crop
Spend this Friday night, June 18, catching up on scrapbook projects or handmade cards, making new friends who share your interest in scrapbooking and stamping and learning new techniques. This free activity is being held at The Little House at City Hall in Liberty Lake, 22710 E. Country Vista, at 6 p.m. Bring a snack and your own supplies. Register online to reserve your spot at libertylakewa.gov.

20 Years of Car d'Lane
If you're a classic car lover, you'll probably want to check out the 20th annual Car d'Lane in Coeur d'Alene this Friday and Saturday, June 18-19. Pre-1972 cars and trucks will cruise downtown on Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. The show will be Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Food vendors, raffles and a street dance are also included in the festivities. Spokane Indians Opening Night
Join the Spokane Indians for Opening Day of the 2010 Season, Friday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Avista Stadium in Spokane. The Indians will play against the Tri-City Dust Devils. Opening Night Fireworks will follow the game. For more information visit spokaneindiansbaseball.com.

Dads free at Silverwood
To celebrate Father's Day, when one of dad's children purchases a ticket at Silverwood's front gate, dad gets in FREE June 19 and 20. Only one free ticket per family. For more information visit silverwoodthemepark.com.

Spokane Street Music Week
The eighth annual Spokane Street Music Week begins Monday, June 14, with more than 150 musicians playing on street corners and in front of stores throughout downtown Spokane. The lunch time performances run through Friday, June 18. The event raises money for the Second Harvest Food Bank.
