May 17, 2010 — With the end of the school year approaching, it's time to start planning kid-friendly activities. Day camps are an option, museums, libraries and the every popular theme park are always great ways to keep the kiddos entertained. Many of the following activities are fun for just adults, too!
Local Pioneer Aviators
The exhibit "On a Wing and a Prayer, featuring local pioneer aviators Nick Mamer, Jack Fancher and Buell Felts, will be on display Wednesday, May 19 through Thursday, Sept. 16 at the Spokane Valley Heritage Museum located at 12114 E. I Can Do It Learning Center Day Camp
A summer day camp featuring arts and crafts, music, puppet shows, story time, gardening, biking, sports and more will be held at the I Can Do It Learning Center located at 2544 E. Rockin' B Theatre Arts Day Camp
Reserve your child's spot for the July 26th through August 6th Theatre Arts Day Camp at the popular Rockin' B Ranch just west of Idaho / Washington state line. The camp is for 11 to 16 year olds who will learn about the practice and arts of storytelling and story listening through writing and performing. Ready Set Read
